NAVODAYAN WISHES YOU A HAPPY INDIAN REPUBLIC DAY
As all of us know it is our 69 Republic Day on this day the earlier Government of India Act 1935 was replaced by Constitution of India. On this day in 1950 the Constitution of India came into effect which was adopted by constituent assembly on 26 November 1949. After a hard intelligent work by constituent assembly it become reality under the chairmanship of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
Why this day was chosen?
As on this day( 26 January 1930) Indian National Congress proclaimed Indian Independence(पूर्ण स्वराज्य) by opposing Dominion Status offered by British Regime. So after achieving independence on August 15, 1947 Government of India decided to have its own constitution instead of modified Government of India Act 1935. So on 28 August 1947 a drafting committee under the chairmanship of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was constituted/appointed for bringing a new permanent constitution of India. The draft was prepared and submitted to committee on 4th November 1947. After two years 11 months and 18 days long parliamentary sessions and public opinion 308 members signed two copies on 24 January 1950 and on 26 January 1950 it came into effect. The day 26 January of proclaiming Purna Swaraj in 1930 become again historic.
Since then every year we, the people of India, started celebrating Republic day all over the country.

being a Navodayan will never argue about
religion, region, gender, colour, caste, food habits, dress, employment
etc. of any other Navodayan or other members of our society. I will try not to bring disgrace to my family as well as Navodayan community.
I
will render my services for the welfare, development, prosperity and unity of
our community and country. I will never took part in any activity weather
individual or group which will attract negative impact on the national
integration and security of our country.
I will strive to enhance our brethren relation
without discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, region, employment,
dress, food habits etc. I will strive to enhance the beauty of community by
connecting with each other and will try to render help to needy and deserving
members. I would have love and respect for every member of our community. I
would be beholder of beauty of our community and will bring out the negative
and disgracing action of our members, with proper care and attention without
hurting the feeling of others. So that, we could improve, enhance our relations
and make the bounds stronger.
